03 Lun Font

Growing up, I spent my summers in Lun, Croatia, surrounded by the traditional dry stone walls that define the landscape. Built without mortar from local stones, these walls were used to divide land, mark boundaries, and protect the olive groves Lun is known for. They’re an integral part of the area’s cultural heritage, showcasing its history and craftsmanship.

I’ve simplified the natural, irregular shapes of the stones into clean, modern lines while preserving their original character. This balance between the authentic and the contemporary reflects not only Lun’s landscape but also its history and identity. The typography serves as a tribute to the place that shaped my childhood and continues to inspire me today.
